Park Ji-su, pov:
I followed the sound of the bikes until I caught up to them. There were three men dressed in leather jackets and helmets. They were cursing and shouting, and I could tell they were angry.
"What's going on?" I inquired, approaching them with caution.
"Take care of yourself, youngster. "This has nothing to do with you," one of them growled
"I believe it does concern me. I noticed a guy speeding towards me, and he fell off his bike. "I believe he's in trouble," I explained.
They exchanged glances before one of them spoke up.
"Did he say anything to you?" "How did he look?" he wondered.
"He said his name was Kim Sung Dae, and he was wearing a helmet and racing gear," I continued, holding up the helmet as proof. 'Why did I say it?What if they were attempting to harm him? 'You're a moron,' I thought.
They exchanged another glance, and then one of them spoke up.
"All right, we'll take you to him." But you must promise not to tell anyone about this, okay?" he stated.
I nodded, and they escorted me to a remote spot behind some buildings. I noticed Sung Dae sitting on the ground, surrounded by the three males.
"Are you okay?" I questioned, hurrying up to him.
When he looked up at me, I saw anger in hiseyes.
"I'm all right. "Thank you for bringing my helmet," he remarked as I walked towards him.
"What exactly is going on?" "What are they after?" I asked, motioning to the three guys.
"It's a complicated story." "Let's just say I owe them some money, and they don't like it when I don't pay," he replied, averting his sight from mine.
"Can't you go to the cops?" "They'll assist you," I advised.
"It's not that simple. I'll figure something out. Don't worry about me," he said, standing up and dusting himself off.
"Wait, I want to help. I don't like seeing someone in trouble," I said, determined.
He stared at me, then at the three guys, who were growing antsy.
"What kinds of films do you like, girl?" He inquired.
"I...I love horror, romance, and mystery," I replied, puzzled.
"Do you like action?" he inquired.
"Yes, I do," I answered.
"Have you ever seen any real-life action?" He asked for the gloves be removed from his hands.
"No,but can I see it now?"I inquired, knowing that I was about to witness something daring. And pulled off his gloves from his hands
"Sure,I like the spirit," he responded with a smirk on his lips. "Back off," he muttered.
And then I watched a guy who was all alone beating 6 guys in 5 minutes.
I was both thrilled and excited at the time.
The next thing I knew, I was hearing police sirens.
"Run," he advised.
And I ran without thinking, not even looking back, not realising that the helmet was still in my possession and that I had forgotten to return it to him.
After I reached home,I climbed upstairs to my room, panting and sweating, and fell down like a feather after arriving home.
"Oh, I'm exhausted today, such a long day."
I went to bed after freshening up, and my gaze was drawn to the helmet.
"Oh dear, what should I do?" I said it in a dreamy tone and fell asleep.
More to come....
